Shipping to the US: Customs Duties, Taxes & Our New DDP ServiceUpdated 2 months ago

1. End of the “de minimis” exemption (from August 29, 2025)

Until now, orders valued under 800 USD could enter the US free of customs duties under the so-called “de minimis” rule.
This regulation will no longer apply as of August 29, 2025.

  • All shipments to the US will be subject to import duties, regardless of their value.

  • Many postal services around the world are even suspending shipments to the US due to this change.

2. DDP Shipping with DHL Express – your worry-free solution

To ensure smooth and reliable delivery despite these changes, we now offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping with DHL Express.

This means for you:

  • All customs duties and taxes are included in the price, as shown at checkout, and must be paid upfront. All fees and duties are borne by the customer.

  • You see the full, final cost upfront — no further hidden fees upon delivery.

  • We handle all import paperwork, so your order arrives without delays or unexpected charges.
